Every great story has a beginning so as this great brand has one too. The company was started by Adi Dassler by the name of “Gebrüder Dassler Schuhfabrik” in 1924 in a small town of Germany. This was the first step towards providing athletes with the best possible solutions in a form of product to achieve their goals. In 1949, Adi started over again and registered “Adi Dassler adidas Sportschuhfabrik”. On the same day he also registered a shoe with 3 stripes which is now considered as the identity of adidas. In 1954 when German national team won a football final against the unbeatable Hungarian team and the victory which was heard around for decades made the adidas and its founder the occupants of the football pitches entirely.

Today, the CEO of Adidas is Kasper Rorsted and the brand is now the largest sportswear manufacturer in the entire Europe and second largest in the entire world. The brand is standing in the market with the total net income of 0.72 billion euros and has a total revenue of 19.291 billion euros approx. It has 3 subsidiaries which are ; Reebok, Runtastic, Matix. It has been a very large brand so now, some of its competitors used to copies its designs but Adidas takes this matter very seriously and they have showed the country as well. They filled lawsuits against Skechers in 2016 for making a duplicate of Stan Smith design and other one for making Adidas replicas like “Springblade”.
